Peter & Paul

In the greatest tradition of biblical storytelling comes a monumental epic miniseries that brings to life the precarious existence of early Christianity. As the world faces uncertainty, the new movement is beset by violent opposition - forcing two key leaders to rise to the challenge to keep the faith alive.

Follow Peter (Robert Foxworth) and Paul (Anthony Hopkins) through three epochal decades as they staunchly journey forth to defend and spread the word of Christ.

From the legendary road to Damascus, their encounter in Jerusalem, Paul's travels to Asia Minor and Greece, their clashes over Jewish law through to Peter's heartfelt decision to follow in Paul's courageous footsteps, their story is one of great passion amidst torment and doubt, of blinding optimism in the face of brutality and greed.

Featuring a stellar supporting cast of Eddie Albert, Raymond Burr, Jose Ferrer, Jon Finch, Herbert Lom, John Rhys-Davies and Jean Peters, Peter And Paul is a moving portrayal of two dedicated men with a long-lasting message of love and tolerance.

Samson and Delilah

Adapted from Eric Linkletter's book Husband of Delilah and inspired by the Old Testament, Samson and Delilah is the original epic tale of power, persuasion and love's ultimate betrayal during the late 11th Century BC.

When Hebrew strong man Samson (Antony Hamilton, Fatal Instinct) is charged with the mighty responsibility of safeguarding his fellow Hebrews from the interminable persecution of the Philistines, he comes to the attention of conniving Philistine beauty Delilah (Belinda Bauer, Robocop 2).

Entranced by her amorous ways yet oblivious to her evil intent, Samson allows Delilah to discover the true source of his almighty strength. Robbed of his long flowing hair, Samson is transformed into a shadow of the hero he once was - an enslaved object of Philistine ridicule. His remarkable story of redemption and tireless struggle for power is as engrossing as it is inspirational.

Featuring a stellar cast, including Max Von Sydow, Victor Mature, Jose Ferrer and a suitably rousing score from Oscar winner Maurice Jarre (Lawrence Of Arabia).

The Way

When Tom (Golden Globe Award winner Martin Sheen, The West Wing), a stubbornly sage American doctor arrives in France, no experience in his illustrious life has prepared him for the untimely death of his adventurous son Daniel (Emilio Estevez).

Grasping at memories and missed opportunities, without a compass to set him straight, Tom faces unimaginable cross roads in his life. Coming to terms with his loss and compelled to understand Daniel's spirited ideals, Tom embarks on the grand historical pilgrimage, "The Way of Saint James," in order to honour his son and fulfill his last wish to complete the journey.

An inexperienced trekker himself, Tom meets other pilgrims from around the world, also looking for greater meaning in their lives: a Dutchman (Yorick van Wageningen, The Girl With The Dragon Tattoo), a Canadian (Deborah Kara Unger, Silent Hill) and an Irish writer (James Nesbitt, The Hobbit), who is suffering from a bout of writer's block.

This unlikely quartet of international misfits forge an everlasting bond and allow Tom to discover what it means to be a citizen of the world again, and to appreciate the remarkable difference between the life we live and the life we choose.
