This image was created based on a drawing by artist Tommy Canning from Scotland. His picture depicted Our Lady receiving the soul of an unborn child (Mary, Mother of the Unborn Ref: P-TCMMU).
This image however, depicts the Virgin Mary at the moment of the Incarnation, as she had conceived by the power of the Holy Spirit (Luke 1:35).
