The Marie-Julie Jahenny edible prayer is a traditional Catholic sacramental, often sold as small wafers, used for spiritual protection during predicted times of plagues and the "Three Days of Darkness". Inspired by the 19th-century French mystic, these wafers are inscribed with the invocation: "O Jesus, Vanquisher of Death, Save Us – O Crux Ave Spes Unica".
