This image titled "Mother of Mercy" was painted in 2013 by artist
Tommy Canning from Scotland.

"While visiting an old shrine dedicated to the Mother of Mercy in Lyon France in 2011, I was captivated by a stunning original painting of the Mother and Child in a side altar in the church. It was painted very much in the style of the great 19th century French artist William Adolphe Bouguereau, one of my most favourite artists of all time.  I was so taken by this painting.  I had the opportunity to paint this one in 2013 when I was commissioned by a family in Poland to paint a Mother and Child painting for their family home."  Tommy Canning
